"The album's called "Fullheartedly" because it's not a word, but you still get what it means. This album to me is about that sort of phenomenon, where you always seem to come up short, but the people around you still understand you and can "fill in the gaps." I try and put everything I can into music, but there will always be some imperfection in it that I can't perceive, but someone else will. When that happens, though, they'll take it for what it is and—hopefully—accept it as a reflection of me, the person who made it. " -Reversed Reference

This album, the first of a double release from Reversed Reference explores a bouncy, light hearted IDM/trip hop approach to their sound, compiling tracks made between 2015 and 2021. Despite the incredibly large gap of time, every single track here flows seamlessly and contributes to a lush patchwork quilt of audio, with field recordings and reoccuring melodies weaving in and out of tracks. On top of this, french artist AIM:M hops in on track two to deliver a funky vocal performance over an already catchy beat, creating an instantaneous highlight for the album.

On the flipside, longer tracks like Leap Year and Taj Mahal cement themselves as highlights for the opposite reason, using repetitive breakbeats and quirky melodies almost resembling acts such as Plaid and Ilkae as a vehicle to build suspense while maintaining the catchy, funky tone from the rest of the album. This wide variety of tracks lead to an album experience that you can't help but listen through in its entirety every time you put it on.
